Each year, White Desert runs an incredible season from November through February welcoming around 300 guests to experience the very best of the icy region. Prices start at $71,500 per person for a 6-day tour and includes return flights & transfers from Cape Town to Antarctica, all accommodation, food & beverages and activities around camp.White Desert Antarctica have pledged to use $1,000 per person per trip on their conservation, community and sustainability initiatives.
Whichaway Camp

Whichaway Camp, White Desert’s original luxury retreat, is an exclusive oasis set amid the striking landscape of Antarctica’s Schirmacher Oasis. Accessible by a 30-minute Basler flight from Wolf’s Fang Runway, the camp accommodates up to 12 guests in six Polar Pods. Each pod features elegant, old-world interiors that pay homage to Antarctica’s exploration history, coupled with modern amenities like writing desks, wash areas, and customisable bedding for optimal comfort. Alongside the private shower facilities, lounge, dining pods, and a wellness dome with a sauna, Whichaway Camp also invites guests to unwind through outdoor activities, mindfulness sessions, and yoga, making it ideal for individuals, small groups, or exclusive bookings seeking adventure with a touch of luxury.
Echo Camp

A futuristic haven inspired by astronautical design, sits on a striking blue ice glacier at the base of the Henriksen Nunataks, where rugged mountain peaks emerge through the frozen landscape. Just a 15-minute drive from Wolf’s Fang Runway, this innovative camp accommodates up to 12 guests in six “sky pods,” each designed for two with heated interiors, a cosy lounge area, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame breathtaking views of Antarctica’s lunar-like vistas. The camp includes a central shower pod with mountain views, a kitchen, and a communal lounge and dining area, with a larger Platinum Pod offering added privacy and an ensuite shower.

Designed to host up to 12 guests in six heated tents, each with an en-suite toilet. Inspired by the age of exploration, the tent interiors incorporate leather, canvas, and quotes from historical adventurers, while the camp’s central shower unit, kitchen, and lounge-dining tent add convenience. Serving as a staging ground for expedition guests and scientists en route to research sites, Wolf’s Fang captures the spirit of Antarctic adventure for those seeking a true pioneering experience.
